in order to arrange an opportunity for us to meet at a time which is mutually convenient. This web site is aimed predominantly at giving information to prospective parents and others in the locality who have an interest in the school. It is clearly impossible to paint a detailed picture of a school comprising some 1100 pupils, 68 teaching staff, 5 trainee teachers and 44 ancillary staff in a short web site of this nature, consequently, I have made no attempt to do so. This web site merely outlines in the broadest terms some of the thinking and practices which combine to create a school of which we can be proud. I trust that if your son or daughter joins us at Lynn Grove, he or she will continue the tradition of hard work, high standards of achievement and behaviour in a caring community, which is the hallmark of our success to date. It has been our experience that, within this framework, pupils of all abilities develop the confidence and skills necessary to cope with the more complex world outside school. Mr D J Evans
