Retirement of Mr Mike Getvoldsen
July 18th 2003 marks the end of a long career in teaching at Lynn Grove VA High School for Mr Mike Getvoldsen. After over 30 years of teaching Science at the school Mike is retiring at the end of this term (although he will be back in the Autumn on a part-time basis).
Staff organised a farewell party for Mike where anecdotes about his career were shared and he was presented with a digital camera and a voucher for golf lessons.
Mike said that he "was overwhelmed by everyone's generosity" and thanked all those who had contributed to the evening's success.

Leavers Ball
Our Year 11s recently attended a very successful Leavers Ball at Caldicott Hall.The event was very well attended and enjoyed by all (including the staff!).
The boys looked wonderful in their smart suits and the girls were gorgeous in their ball gowns and evening dresses.
A lot of the students arrived in style - Mr Doyle decided to be a little different!
