Masters Level Training Opportunities

Are you interested in getting a Masters?

• You’ve got an educational interest you want to pursue

• You enjoy discussing educational issues with like-minded colleagues
• Maybe you already have some M level ‘points’

• You haven’t got time to travel to a university or college
• You think it might cost too much
• You are not sure you can manage a whole Masters
• You are a bit scared – it’s been a while since you wrote an essay!!!

WE COULD HAVE THE SOLUTION!!!

The Eastern Region Training Schools together with Anglia Ruskin University have recently been awarded funding to offer:

POSTGRADUATE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (PPD) EDUCATION

Locally and flexibly to meet your needs

From the Autumn Term of 2008 you will be able to study at Masters level at the following Training Schools: Lynn Grove, Notre Dame, Aylsham, Kesgrave, Sawtry, Greensward

• Your studies will be closely related to your work
• PPD funding allows us to make a substantial contribution to your fees
• You can complete a whole Masters – but if you prefer just to do one or two modules that’s fine too
• We will give plenty of support, flexibly to meet your needs
• You will have access to the ARU library and online resources

WHAT CAN I STUDY?

At Lynn Grove in the first year we will offer three 30 point modules with the offer increasing / changing in the following years:

• Action Enquiry for Institutional Improvement
• NQT Module
• Coaching and Mentoring Module
• Raising Attainment in teaching and learning
