Early Entry GCSE This option was introduced for those with a keen interest and excellent ability in mathematics. At the end of Year 9 our most able students can opt to do additional maths in one of their option blocks. They will study their gcse during year 10 and then progress to study a variety of A-level topics in year 11. Pupils on this course have also had opportunity to teach some of the lower years and take part in visits to the mathematics lectures in Cambridge. Most go on to study mathematics at college.
