The MFL department enjoys a very high profile around the school. Pupils are keen to take advantage of the many opportunities offered to them, making the language learning experience a dynamic and rewarding experience.
We have strong links:
- locally – with our feeder primary schools and the UEA
- every year our pupils watch dazzling performances put on in school by the European Theatre Company and the Flying Theatre Company
- internationally - we run annual trips to Germany for Year 7 and to France for Year 8. In Years 10 and 11 pupils have the opportunity to go to Lille and the Loire Valley. We also have links with schools in France and Germany which enhance pupils’ learning.
