The school Council is responsible for listening to the pupil voice and has established itself as worthwhile in the eyes of the pupils. The council has welcomed inputs to its meetings by head of School Kitchen. Each year, year 10 members of the council welcome senior citizens to a Christmas Dinner with entertainment and carols. This event is run by the students and is now firmly established in the Christmas Calendar. Other notable achievements in the past have included: - A major pupil opinion survey on uniform
- Major charitable projects which have raised money for The Children’s Society, Comic Relief, Cancer Macmillan, James Paget Palliative Care Appeal Fund, Nepal relief fund, Great Ormond Street Hospital and the RNLI.
During the last Ofsted, Citizenship lessons were deemed to be good.
