We have been working with the Local Authority and local secondary and primary schools to set up a collaborative CPD Cluster. The aim of the cluster is to provide cost-effective, accessible CPD to schools in the East of Norfolk.

Initially 4 projects have been identified as follows:

• Cover Supervisor Network – Professional Development sessions held termly at Lynn Grove for secondary Cover Supervisors. Accreditation through SWIS (Support Workers in Schools) could be possible. • NQT Network – The next meeting will be held at Lynn Grove on 16th June and will look at 'Thinking beyond the NQT Year'.  For further details please contact Kate Williams at Oriel High School.

• ICT Training – Training sessions in MCAS (Industry Standard Microsoft Office application training & exam in Office 2007 products) will be running at Lynn Grove as follows:
  • Autumn term – Word (COURSE FULL)
  • Spring term – Excel
  • Summer term – Powerpoint
  There will be 6 sessions per term and they will be from 3.30-4.30pm and will cost £60 for 6 sessions. This includes tuition, exam fees and a Course Book and represents a substantial discount due to Lynn Grove’s Microsoft Academy status. Places will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
